All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go...

I am quoting the John Denver song in honor of my mother, who always likes to sing it anytime anyone is going anywhere on a plane...

Well, I'm on my way! And so far I haven't had any trouble finding free WiFi. Of course, I am writing this on the bus on the way to Logan. This bus is very nice. It even has a free movie - "Mrs. Doubtfire." It's nice to see our public transportation is so up-to-date. I do hope the oxen pulling this thing don't get tired...

The best thing about riding on a bus is that it stays on the ground. I guess it is no surprise that I do have a bit of flight-anxiety. Usually Allie has to deal with my squeezing hand when we take off. I hope whomever is next to me today isn't offended.

I had forgotten that Sally Field was in "Mrs. Doubtfire!" She was someone who knew how to fly!

I digress...

I just want to say that the next time I buy a ticket to fly across the Atlantic I am going to check the long-range forecast 3 months ahead to make sure the one day I plan to fly does not include a freak hurricane off the coast of Boston. Anyway, here is my ride:
Wait a second! Isn't Germany to the right? Why are we going left! Somebody check the google map!

The whole gang came to the bus station to see me off. Here is how they showed me how they felt:

... and here is how they really felt:

My next post will be from Deutschland!
